This design-build project utilized Ford’s prototype with Murray Ford Dealership modifications to respond to the local market demands. Preliminary value engineering allowed adjustments to the prototypical design. These adjustments were made to meet the Murray Ford budget and local design constraints for hurricane and flood protection along Georgia’s coast. This facility has twelve repair bays and associated parts and tire storage areas.
